What To Bring

Green Lake Outfitters has a comfortable camp with a central cabin for cooking, eating, and getting together with fellow hunters and separate cabins for sleeping. Besides your personal gear, you will need the following supplies to ensure a successful hunt:

  • Tree stand safety strap or harnessblaze-orange-clothing
  • Screw in hooks
  • light weight sleeping bag
  • Towel
  • Soft rifle cover for use during the hunt (one made of material is fine)
  • Day pack
  • Small flashlight and batteries
  • Camera
  • Binocularsinsulated-gloves
  • 20 rounds of ammo
  • Fall deer hunters boot blankets
  • Good down jacket
  • Heavy wool pants
  • Socks
  • Long underwear
  • Heavy sweater
  • Heavy weight shirts
  • 1 pair good insulated boots
  • Insulated one piece suitorange-hunting-hat
  • Good insulated gloves
  • Hand and boot warmers are also good
  • Spring bear rifle hunters and fall deer hunters must wear a safety vest or top of either blaze orange or scarlet red
  • A blaze orange or red hat must be worn by rifle hunters
  • COLOURS ABOVE MUST BE PALIN, NO CAMO
  • Spring bear archery hunters may wear any camo colours
  • Lots of warm clothing is a must in the fallsleeping-bag
  • Don’t overpack as you are in camp only 6 days
